On 23 Feb, 2024, representatives from the Lagos State Research and Innovation Council (LASRIC) (including Mr. Alani, Coordinator, LASRIC Secretariat/Support Team) visited the COMMUNITY INNO VATION HUB (CIH). The CIH team introduced themselves and their roles at the center.
2. Welcome Speech:
A representative from the CIH team (Mr. Wale) delivered a welcome address to the LASRIC delegation.
3. LASRIC Overview:
Mr. Alani presented information on LASRIC, outlining’s, and key activities.
4. CIH Achievements:
The CIH team presented their achievements since receiving the LASRIC grant. This included presentations on specific project successes, their impact on the community, and challenges they had overcome.
5. Student Engagement:
The CIH team discussed their methods for engaging students with the center. They showcased their projects and innovations, success stories of students who benefited from the knowledge and resources available and highlighted how they have utilized their acquired knowledge for positive outcomes.
8. LASRIC Feedback:
Dr. Iyabo Phillips provided feedback on the CIH’s presentation and offered guidance for future endeavors.
9. Other Comments:
The LASRIC Team had a tour of all the office and resources we have in the hub.
10. Closing:
The meeting concluded with closing remarks from both the CIH and LASRIC representatives.
